One scam that has been around for ages is the Guaranteed Credit Card scam.  Scam artists prey on consumers with bad credit telling them that for an up front fee, they can get a credit card with a limit of up to $5,000.00 or even $10,000.00.  The scam artist claims he has access to banks that issue you cards even though your credit is bad.  The fees can range from $150.00 to $300.00. Consumers have been taken for millions of dollars over the years by this scam.  No one can get you a premium credit card of this kind for a fee.  All banks pull your credit report, and if you have problems with your credit, you will be denied.  Use you brain!  This is a case of, “If it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true.”  Stay away from anyone who tries this scam.  Better yet, turn them in to the police to stop them from preying on other people not as well informed as you are.
